the IT Union of Saskatchewan,
since 1974
CEP Local 911is located in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada and represents 268 members working in the Information Technology Industry. Our local is very diverse in that IT professionals such as Applications Analysts, Midrange Operators, Mainframe Operators, and Programmer/Analysts, join Microcomputer and Network Specialists, along with Clerical and Administrative Support Staff, to form CEP Local 911, part of The Communications, Energy and Paperworkers Union of Canada.
Our workforce is responsible for makingISM Canada a profitable subsidiary of IBM Canada.
The Communications Workers of America (CWA) One of the longest union
organizing drives in history continues at IBM. The Communications Workers of
America (CWA) http://www.cwa-union.org/
has created the CWA Local 1701 also known as the Alliance @IBM. (Italian,
Australian, Japanese and French IBMers already have union representation.)
The web site Alliance@IBM is a virtual union organizing headquarters.
Hundreds of current and former IBM employees in the United States of America
have posted messages chronicling the struggle for workers rights at the
